NPPC Leaders Host Medicaid Panel at the National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference in Washington, DC

NPPC Steering Committee leaders Mollie Van Lieu and Luisa Furstenberg-Beckman hosted a panel presentation on opportunities for produce prescriptions (PRx) in the Medicaid program alongside RJ Briscione and Gideon Adams. The panelists described the national market opportunity for PRx as a Food Is Medicine (FIM) benefit, they presented important considerations for implementation, particularly at food banks and other community benefit organizations (CBO’s), and they discussed effective advocacy strategies for advancing policy within the program at the State level.
