NPPC Brings Members to DC for VA Advocacy

On March 11th, we hosted several NPPC members in DC for a hill day focused on expanding and integrating PRx for veterans within the VHA. Our small crew had a chance to talk to policymakers and committee staff about the impact of their work with veterans and the importance of policy change. While we have pockets of PRx coverage within Medicaid, Medicare, USDA, and the Indian Health Service, the VHA has yet to adopt a VHA-run demonstration for its patients. We will continue the push for PRx access for veterans with diet-related chronic illness.
