On March 12th, NPPC submitted NPPC’s FY27 appropriations requests to the chairs and ranking members of both chambers’ appropriation committees. We invited members to share the requests with their elected officials, as their priorities align. This year we included:
- $10M for the Produce Prescription Pilot Program (P4) within IHS
- $15M for Maternal Produce Prescription from HRSA
- $10M to fund the implementation and clinical workflow for use of PRx in the VA
- $5M for the Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program PRx Program in USDA
- $25M for the NIH Office of the Director
