December 10, 2025 –
Feeding Westchester, sources and distributes food to about 175 food pantries throughout Westchester County.
Now, the nonprofit organization is taking on another partner, the food delivery service Door Dash.
The two are working together to help Medicaid recipients who are at risk for food insecurity.
The program stems from the federal government’s 1115 Medicaid waiver which allows states to test innovative approaches to Medicaid services.In addition, Door Dash works with food pantries nationwide wide to help get food to those in need, through their Project Dash program….
