An urban farm on the corner of Second Ave. and 38th St. is part of a mission to make healthy food more accessible and affordable.The MercyMed farm is part of MercyMed Clinic, a non-profit who says its mission is to provide, “affordable, quality healthcare for the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the underserved.”The farm is the clinic’s way of offering what they call “wrap around services,” a comprehensive and holistic way of supporting the complex issues people often face.
