9/11/2023 – The National Produce Prescription Collaborative (NPPC) appreciates the opportunity to comment on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) proposed rule (CMS-1784-P) for calendar year 2024.
Specifically, we are pleased to support the CMS proposal to create five new G codes for services associated with health-related social needs (HRSNs) as well as the proposal to add a new Social Drivers of Health (SDOH) risk assessment to the Annual Wellness Visit as an optional additional assessment with an additional payment.
