Hunger Free Oklahoma report finds growth and gaps in Food is Medicine programs

has released its 2026 Oklahoma Food is Medicine Landscape Analysis, a statewide report identifying both measurable health benefits and persistent barriers facing programs that integrate nutritious food with to prevent and manage diet-related .

Funded by the Morningcrest Healthcare Foundation and launched in January 2025, the analysis examined the current state of Food is Medicine programs across Oklahoma, identifying 14 operating statewide, with 12 participating in the analysis.
