Frankfort, Kentucky (February 11, 2026) – Members of the House voted to pass House Joint Resolution (HJR) 25, sponsored by Representative Deanna Gordon (R-Richmond), which would declare Kentucky a Food is Medicine state and direct state agencies to advance Food is Medicine initiatives. The goal of HJR 25 would be to make Kentucky citizens healthier by addressing poor diet, food insecurity, and agriculture production barriers as well as health insurance provisions, basic nutrition needs, and chronic disease management….
