12/12/2023 – Natasha Pernicka is a co-founder and the executive director of The Alliance for a Hunger Free New York as well as the executive director of The Food Pantries for the Capital District and a member of the New York State Council on Hunger and Food Policy. She has more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector focusing on hunger relief, homelessness/housing, mental health, older adults, and youth development. Through The Food Pantries for the Capital District, Natasha also leads the New York State Food as Medicine Project.
She received a bachelor’s degree in political science, literature, and history from Colorado State University and a master’s degree in public administration from the University at Albany, SUNY.
