ROANOKE, W.Va. (WV News) — The West Virginia Food is Medicine (FIM) Coalition held its first in-person meeting at Stonewall Resort on Thursday.
The meeting brought several key people and groups together, said Merinda Stricklen, director of health and community education at FamilyCare Health Center and co-chair of the FIM Coalition.
“We’re bringing together multiple organizations, payers, health care people and foundations to talk about this program,” she said. “Our goal is to provide healthy food across West Virginia.”…
