‘Food as Medicine’ program integrates pantries in Capital Region healthcare facilities

Most of us think of food as just that: food, or maybe food as fuel if you’re an athlete. But there’s a movement, viewing food as medicine. It’s something the Regional Food Bank is pursuing in its programming.

The Regional Food Bank, known for its gracious outpouring of food across the Capital Region is now taking it a step further with its Food as Medicine program.
